Art on the Cover: More Than Just Blueprints
Before issuing a set of construction drawings for one of our custom residential projects, we create and include an original work of art on the cover page. This piece, often abstract, is crafted specifically for the project and serves as a visual expression of its core design idea.
More than a design flourish, this artwork is a statement—a reminder that what’s being built is not just another job site, but a one-of-a-kind work of architecture. We share this with the contractor at the outset of construction as a guidepost, setting the tone for the care, creativity, and craft that will be required throughout the build.
Each brushstroke, texture, or form is intentional. It’s our way of reinforcing that this home is unique—not only in its plan but in its spirit. It deserves to be built with the same intentionality with which it was designed.
