Books can be a form of escapism, but sometimes the fictional places we steal away to resonate so completely with who we are that the discovery of such people and places transcends escapism and becomes a part of the reader, and in essence our world.  On the outset of designing the Alchemist cocktail bar the goal was to create just such a place to which people can actually escape.  Designing an experience right down to the drink in hand.

Here is our journey to design a local cocktail bar based upon the book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.
