bDot architecture

Often times the best way to increase your knowledge about a particular subject matter is to study the works of those who have come before.  In this case, we studied and built a chair designed by the famous Italian furniture designed Enzo Mari.  From his book "autoprogettazione" which means "self-design" in English, Enzo makes a strong case for individuals to build their own furniture from standardized components to further their understanding about the power of simple and functional design.  This type of thought and purpose of his designs fit well with how we view our own work and how we can grow as architects and designers.
